Who sees the “My Farms” console?

Every user who is admin or manager on at least one farm. The console only lists the farms you are actually allowed to manage.

Does each additional farm cost extra?

Yes — every farm carries its own subscription with its own plan tier and seat count. You only pay for the farms and seats you actually use.

What happens to the data when I move a team member to another farm?

The user loses access to the source farm, but every record stored there stays intact. Animals, fields and bookings are not transferred along with the user.

Are seats billed automatically?

Yes — adding, moving or removing a user automatically adjusts the relevant subscription. If billing fails, the action is rolled back completely.

Can users have different roles on different farms?

No — roles apply account-wide. If a user is a global admin, they are an admin on every farm they join. This keeps administration lean and consistent.

How do you stop a farm from ending up without an admin?

The last remaining admin of a farm cannot be moved away. You must promote another user to admin on that farm first.

Move users between farms

Transfer a team member from one farm to another in a single click. Seats are adjusted on both farms automatically; the source farm loses access while every record stored there stays exactly as it was.

Grant cross-farm access

Give staff additional access to other farms without removing them from the current one. Per user or in bulk for several users at once – ideal for advisors, floaters or sites with shared crews.

Global roles

Roles like Admin or Manager apply account-wide – when a user joins another farm they automatically keep the same permissions. No duplicate setup, no inconsistent configuration.

Per-farm billing

Each farm has its own subscription with its own plan tier and its own seat count. Adding a user increments seats on that exact farm; removing one decrements them.

Strict data isolation

Animals, fields, machinery, finances and tasks stay strictly separated per farm – every farm is its own tenant. What lives on one farm is neither visible nor touchable from another.

Cross-farm audit trail

Every grant, move and farm creation is logged with timestamp, acting user and source/target farm. If a billing call fails, the action is rolled back completely and the cause is recorded.

Lock-out protection

The last remaining admin of a farm can never be moved away – every farm always stays administratively reachable.
