Who does what – and when?

A farm with more than one person has a second problem next to the work itself – namely who takes it on, when it is finished and who can prove it later. As long as that runs on shouting, notes and messages, the farm depends on the people who keep it all in their heads.

FarmManager turns it into a shared view. Tasks have an owner, a priority and a deadline, the calendar is the same one for everybody and can be filled from Outlook, Google or Apple. Shifts are generated from work plans, contracts and absences sit next to them. The system takes rest time and the weekly ceiling of the Working Time Act into account as soon as the shifts are generated, and checks breaks and daily maximum hours against the recorded working time – instead of leaving both to whoever is planning.

Whatever has to be evidenced is produced in the same movement. Time recording delivers the hours statement, personnel administration its notification files, and the quality side with HACCP self-checks, traceability and risk assessment reminds you of due hygiene checks and of when the assessment is to be reviewed.

Day to day this means fewer things depend on individual people. Someone who falls ill leaves behind a task with an owner rather than a gap in the knowledge. And whoever inspects the farm gets a record instead of a recollection.
