Planting Plans
Plan multi-year crop rotations using historical data and soil information. Automatically get a projected harvest date based on crop type and sowing time. Everything at a glance for better harvest planning.
Plan crops and rotations based on data – with live rule validation, catch crops, harvest documentation and EU conditionality (GAEC).

Plan multi-year crop rotations using historical data and soil information. Automatically get a projected harvest date based on crop type and sowing time. Everything at a glance for better harvest planning.
When you create a planting plan, FarmManager checks the planned crop in real time against the previous main crops on the same field. Violations of configured rotation rules (e.g. oilseed rape within 4 years of the previous one) surface with severity — info, warning or violation. Monoculture is detected automatically from three consecutive plantings onward. Custom rules per crop can be added freely.
Flag planting plans as catch crops for greening and DüV Annex 4. Pick the termination method — frost kill, autumn/spring mulching or autumn/spring incorporation — and the carryover is used automatically in the fertilizer demand calculation. Catch crops are correctly skipped in the rotation chain, so they don't break it.
After the season, capture the actual harvest date, harvested quantity, quality grade (e.g. bread wheat, feed grain), water content and harvest notes. Yield per hectare is computed automatically from quantity and field size and surfaces in the statistics as a cross-year, cross-crop comparison.
Keep track of EU conditionality requirements (GAEC – good agricultural and environmental condition) and document compliance per field.
FarmManager checks every parcel against the EU conditionality standards GAEC 1, 2, 4, 5/6 and 9 and lists each issue right where you work. Findings appear per field in the conditionality tab and farm-wide in a holding-status overview, colour-coded by severity (info, warning, violation) so the most urgent problems stand out at a glance. Each finding names the standard and the exact reason — for example arable land kept as grassland past the 5-year mark that must become permanent grassland, a missing or too-narrow water buffer strip, an erosion-prone field without minimum soil cover, or a sensitive permanent grassland flagged against conversion.
FarmManager captures an immutable yearly snapshot of each field's GAEC profile — one record per field and year that is only ever written and read, never edited. Pick any two years and see a live field-by-field diff of all 13 conditionality attributes (land-use category, sensitive grassland, wetland and peatland flags, erosion risk class, water buffer strip and width, minimum soil cover, eco-schemes, area and more). Changed values are highlighted and dates, decimals and eco-scheme sets are compared correctly, so you can prove exactly how a parcel evolved between application years.

Maintain a digital twin of your entire herd. Beyond simple tracking, FarmManager provides deep insights into lifecycle events, genetics, and nutrition performance.

Keep your herd healthy and compliant – vaccinations, veterinary treatments, medications and automatic withdrawal periods, fully documented.

Make animal welfare verifiable – housing, inspections, biosecurity, mortality reports and transports, all structured and documented.

Manage your fields with geographic precision – interactive polygon maps, documented field activities and VDLUFA soil samples including Nmin form the data foundation for crop management and fertilization.

Document crop protection applications in a legally compliant way – applications, products, certificates of competence and equipment all in one place.

Fulfil the German Fertilization Ordinance digitally – fertilizer demand calculation, closed periods, Annex 5 and manure transports, currently with curated reference values for the German state of Hesse (LLH).

Minimize downtime and maximize the lifespan of your heavy equipment. From fleet inventory through preventive maintenance scheduling with dual intervals (operating hours OR months), compliant safety checklists and spare-parts inventory all the way to tax-grade depreciation (AfA) per German § 7 EStG – everything in one platform.

A complete warehouse for your farm inputs and your harvest – storage locations, dated and expiring batches with FIFO valuation, and a signed movement journal that books your finances automatically. From the fuel tank to the grain silo, always know exactly what is in stock, what it is worth and where it came from.

Plan shifts, employment contracts, vacations and working hours in one place. The intelligent shift generator automatically respects contracts, absences and the German Working Time Act (ArbZG) — with fair distribution across all staff.
