Connect the John Deere Operations Center to FarmManager
FarmManager is registered as a connected system in the John Deere Operations Center. You connect your account yourself via OAuth – neither a client ID nor a secret is requested from you.
What you need for this
Your John Deere Operations Center login. Your machines must be held in your organisation.
How to connect
Open the connections page
In FarmManager open "Telematics" in the navigation and then "Telematics connections". Under "Provider accounts" you will find the John Deere card.
Click "Connect"
The John Deere sign-in opens in a new tab.
Sign in at John Deere
Sign in with your John Deere Operations Center account.
Authorise your organisation
At connections.deere.com select your organisation and grant access. Without this step the machine data stays locked – it is the most common reason no machines appear afterwards.
Discover machines
Back in the FarmManager tab, click "Discover machines". Machines that are found are proposed to you and matched to your own machines by serial number.
What arrives afterwards
- Position, speed and heading
- Engine and working status
- Engine hours with a 24-hour history
- Fuel level with a 24-hour history
- The track driven over the last four hours for 3D mode
Connection not working?
If no machines appear after connecting, almost always the organisation at connections.deere.com has not yet been authorised for the application. If that does not get you any further, book an appointment – we will walk through the authorisation with you, free of charge.
